Hi, I’m Sophie and I’m a qualified counsellor based in North Wales with seven years lived experience of moderate to severe M.E/CFS. And after immersing myself in a recovery process in 2020, I have since developed a passion to collaborate with clients to help them overcome chronic exhaustive conditions too. I also run courses in North Wales introducing the recovery process.

My areas of expertise in M.E/CFS and fibromyalgia recovery are:

The way I work: Is explorative – where we gain insight about you and your experience to develop a tailored approach. My role as a counsellor is to support you to gain a deeper all round understanding, increased self awareness and emotional regulation. Recovery from debilitating symptoms involves making daily and global changes, it takes continuity and is often a process of unlearning. And with tools, techniques and interventions being introduced along the way, this should empower you to gain mastery over your symptoms and the connecting emotions.
