As a complementary practitioner my focus is on assisting people into health and wellness. I recognise the importance of taking time out of our busy lives to relax and unwind as stress, physical, environmental or emotional trigger the fight-flight response and releases adrenaline within the body. Periods of prolonged stress can have an adverse effect on the body’s hormone levels, digestion, cognitive and emotional responses.
The therapies I offer – Massage and Reflexology have a calming effect on the body, reducing heart rate, increasing blood flow and releasing tense muscles, bringing the body back into a parasympathetic state. Thus allowing the body to regain a balanced state where self healing can be activated.
